Internships at IU

There are many departments across IU that hire interns throughout the year. Check with your academic department to learn about potential opportunities. We have listed a few opportunities here to get you started.

CEWiT hires student interns every academic year.

The IU Center of Excellence for Women in Technology (CEWiT) is the nation’s first and only large-scale interdisciplinary, university-based initiative to encourage and promote the participation, empowerment, and achievement of women students, faculty, staff, and alumnae in technology.

The Indiana Memorial Union’s Biddle Hotel and Conference Center is a place for visitors to stay in Bloomington with upscale accomodations and ammenities. There are opportunities to work for their marketing and social media team.

IMU Internships

The Alumni Association maintains and builds the growing network of IU graduates. Positions for writers, editors, and graphic designers are offered. Contact them through the link below for more information on these opportunities.

The IUB Office of Admissions helps students and families navigate the admissions process at Indiana University, with positions in admissions counseling and internships in recuitment or marketing. Contact this office through the link below to learn more about these internships.

The Kelley Institute for Social Impact (KISI) has office internships in the areas of strategy and operations, marketing, and assessment. Open to all students who have completed at least two semesters of coursework on a college campus. Check out the link below to learn about these internships.

Capital Planning and Facilities plans, creates, maintains, and preserves Indiana University’s beautiful, functional, and sustainable campuses. The office hires Account Interns and Accounting Interns. Use the link below to contact the office for more information on these internship positions.

Capital Planning and Facilities Internships

The clinic is a joint program between the School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering, the School of Public & Environmental Affairs, the Kelley School of Business, and other University and community organizations. This program provides real-world, team-based learning experiences for students, while at the same time helping local organizations that work for social good.
